About The Chile

I am a proud Guatemalan native known as “The Chile.” My journey in radio began in 2004 at Mega 101, where I discovered my talent for making people laugh. This passion led me to join 97.9 The Box in 2007, where I spent eleven amazing years as part of their team before parting ways on January 2, 2018.

I have always shown strong support for Houston and the surrounding metropolitan area, especially when it comes to the Houston Texans and other local sports teams. Boxing holds a special place in my heart, and I actively support local boxers, never missing a televised boxing match.

In 2018, I embarked on a new journey into comedy and began sharing my knowledge of the music industry with the youth. With over 12 years of experience in music, I am dedicated to helping Houston’s aspiring young artists learn how to market themselves and navigate the music business. I also believe in the importance of education, encouraging young people to stay in school and pursue a college degree.

Additionally, I emphasize the significance of registering to vote and engaging with the community, as these actions can contribute to making it a better place for everyone.

Currently, I am thrilled to be part of Houston’s number one morning show, The Rod Ryan Show on 94.5 The Buzz, where I continue to connect with listeners and share my passion for entertainment and community engagement.
