  • Grandson of Jon Gotti Upset Over Rick Ross Using “Teflon Don” Name

The grandson of Jon Gotti, the mob boss who was dubbed the “Teflon Don”, is voicing his disgust over Rick Ross using the name of his infamous relative.

Ross’ Teflon Don album hit stores Tuesday but according to 24-year-old Carmine Agnello Jr. who goes by Carmine Gotti, the Bawse should have asked permission before taking on the family name.

Gotti, who starred in A&E’s reality TV show “Growing Up Gotti”, tells the New York Daily News that his grandfather earned that name.

According to the Gotti legacy who is now pursuing a music career, a “respectable guy” would have asked for permission before taking on the name of the man that won numerous acquittals in the 80s before he was convicted of murdering and racketeering in 1992.

“My grandfather paid his dues for that nickname. That was my grandfather’s life. I think he’s a great artist, but you can’t just start calling yourself that to sell records… He should have asked for permission. A standup, respectable guy would come and ask ‘If I could use the nickname…He wants to go for that whole image, but hey, be yourself.”

He also takes a shot at Ross, noting how ironic someone with a corrections officer past would later give himself the Teflon Don name.

“Only in America can you go from being a corrections officer to calling yourself Teflon Don.”

Ross is still being sued by Freeway Rick Ross, the convicted drug lord, for using his name.

The New York Daily News could not reach Ross for comment.

  • T.I. Talks Prison Sentence, Says It “Took Him Off The Right Path”

With the August 17th release date of his King Uncaged album quickly approaching, T.I. is continuing his promo trail and speaking out on his incarceration.

The Bankhead rapper that was released from prison in December for felony weapon possession is voicing his opinion on the time he spent in an Arkansas federal prison.

According to Tip, his time behind bars hindered him from the positive path he was embarking on and added insult to injury.

The Grand Hustle head says he already understood what he did wrong and prison made him “worse” by preventing him from making any constructive changes.

    He tells Complex,

“When I was goin’ through it, I really felt like it added insult to injury. The lesson had already been learned. I already understood the errors in my ways and made the adjustments necessary. It did make me worse in a sense that, before I went in, I was already on a path of positivity. Putting me in prison took me off that path a little bit, and now I’m working to get back on that path—or at least back on the path to the extent that I was before I went in. I’m still not as bad as I was before this incident, but I lost a little bit of my positive focus during that period of incarceration. Being in that environment and having those daily surroundings, it’s going to affect you.”

When Complex references several instances on his F*ck A Mixtape project when the rapper says he’s replaced the guns that led to his conviction with knives and is willing to “stab someone”, the man who told Larry King he was a “retired gangster” says the weapons are only meant for self defense.

“It’s within your rights to do anything to protect your well-being, right? That’s well within the law. If my life is being threatened, I have every right, legally, to protect my life and my loved ones. So that wouldn’t be getting in trouble at that point. Everybody takes everything so literal and so…I don’t know. You could spit on the concrete in public and get the same reaction: “Oh, I thought Tip was done getting in trouble. What is he doing spitting on the concrete? What is he doing jaywalking?” The best thing I can do is continue to live my life the best way I know how.”

  • DADDY TO THE RESCUE Floyd Mayweather Sr. Calls Manny Pacquiao A “Sissy”, One Of The Biggest F*ggots On The Planet [Audio]

The ongoing drama between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is reaching a fever pitch now that Floyd Mayweather Sr. is taking shots at his son’s nemesis.

With the deadline passing to complete negotiations for a fight between the two boxers, Mayweather Sr. is sounding off on Pacquiao calling him a “sissy” and one of the “biggest f*ggots on the planet.”

Money Mayweather’s father gave an interview to On The Ropes Boxing Radio and tells the station that if he ever got to meet Pacquaio he would have some choice words for him.

“I’d tell him he’s a f*ggot, go stick your head up under your dress. That’s what I would tell him, being real with youTell him he aint nothing but a little sissy, a little girl.”

The older Mayweather also says that the Filipino champ is scared of his son but had no problem fighting “big guys” like De La Hoya and Cotto.

According to Mayweather Sr.,  Pacquaio is showing his true colors as “one of the biggest f*ggots on the planet” for not agreeing to a bout.

“He (Pacquiao) ain’t got no problem with fighting all the big guys—[Oscar] de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton, the other African guy, the other guy who he fought with the title. I’m just saying he beat these guys, [Miguel] Cotto, he beat all these guys like they’re nothing. He’s one of the biggest f*ggots on the planetHe’s scared, all they’re [Pacquiao’s camp] trying to do is switch it around and make it look like it’s my son is the one that’s scared. I know who’s scared, for real.”

He also threw in one last jab saying,

“One of the biggest b*tches in the sport…that’s what he is, a b*tch.”

Pac-Man has since heard Mayweather’s comments and told ABC News-CSN,

“Tawanan na lang natin ‘yun.  Baka wala siya sa sarili nung pagsabi niya [ng comment na ‘yun]

Which translates to:Let’s just laugh it off. He may not have been himself when he said thatin English.

  • Master P Says Shyne Should Stop Rapping, Look Into Acting

Percy Miller, the man formerly known as Master P, is voicing his opinion on Shyne who’s garnered criticism for his recent onslaught of new music.

Master P is offering advice to the now deported rapper who spent nearly ten years in jail after an infamous 1999 club shooting.

According to P instead of making music, Shyne should focus on other opportunities outside of Hip-Hop and disassociate himself with any negative people that could lead him back to a life behind bars.

    He tells ForbezDVD that Shyne should;

“Look at his resources and what got him into the situation in the first place…disassociate himself with any negativity…any people that’s negative. He got a second chance at life I think he should make the best of it.”

P also lends more advice to Po, saying that sales are ailing in Hip-Hop and at Shyne’s age, he should broaden his horizons.

“Start associating himself with people that could help build his career outside of Hip-Hop because he’s getting older now and he’s got a real short time frame.  Hip-Hop’s at an all-time low right now to where he’s not really selling that many records. He should get into TV, other opportunities…he could utilize his celebrity status to get into something else…not just live for Hip-Hop.”

Miller is not one to hold his tongue and previously criticized Lil Wayne for not rooting for the Saints in the Super Bowl and for the endless streams of tattoos on his body.

Likewise, P was recently criticized himself by his brother C-Murder who’s currently serving a life sentence for murder and says he thinks P is sabotaging his chances of winning an appeal

  • For Pacquiao, it’s either Cotto or Margarito

By Chris Williams: If your a fan of competitive fights, then you can pretty much forget about seeing any interesting match-ups involving WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao.

Unless a fight can be put together between Pacquiao and unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. next year in May, as Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum says going to try and do, then boxing fans will likely have to be content with seeing Pacquiao fight Top Rank fighters one after another starting with probably Margarito next in November.

This isn’t what boxing fans wanted to see from Pacquiao, but it’s what they’re going to get. Pacquiao’s diehard loyal fans aren’t about to complain, though, because many of them don’t appear to care who he fights. Just as long as Pacquiao is fighting, they’re happy.

But it’s disappointing that Pacquiao really doesn’t have a lot of options available for fights. Oh, sure, Pacquiao has tons of interesting opponents out there that he could fight. However, his promoter Bob Arum seems more interesting in matching him against his own fighters from his Top Rank stable, and unfortunately for Arum, his stable doesn’t have many fighters around Pacquiao’s weight class other than Margarito, Cotto, Joshua Clottey, Yuri Foreman, Vanes Martirosyan, and Matt Korobov. Out of that punch, only three of them are worth putting in with Pacquiuao.

But none of them can compare to the other more interesting fighters out there like Timothy Bradley, Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez, Marcos Maidana, Devon Alexander, Alfredo Angulo, Amir Khan and Andre Berto.

Those are the fighters that Pacquiao should be fighting, but there’s little chance of that happening. Pacquiao, because of Arum’s tendency to keep his fights in house, has really only two or three options available to him in the Top Rank stable. Once fights Cotto, and destroys him, there will only be Margarito and maybe Julio Cesar Chavez left in the stable for Pacquiao to fight, unless Arum wants to match Pacquiao up against his lesser stars like Martirosyan, Foreman and Korobov.

It would help make bigger stars of them, but it would hurt Pacquiao because he wouldn’t be matched against the fighters that boxing fans want to see. So you see, unless Arum can somehow put together a fight against Mayweather, Pacquiao has very options ahead of him. Hopefully, Pacquiao’s loyal fans can complain enough so that it gets Pacquiao’s attention and maybe he’ll speak up and make Arum match him against someone outside of his Top Rank stable. I kind of doubt he’ll do that.

Pacquiao will probably keep fighting whoever Arum puts in front of him.

  • Lil Wayne Writes His Reaction Of Lebron James NEWS

Lil Wayne recently wrote from his prison cell a letter explaining his thoughts on Lebron James move to Miami.

With lyrics and ESPN interviews proving his love for sports, it was no surprise that Wayne had something to say about the situation. Wayne wrote on his blog about the move:

Oh Lebron! The recent move by the Miami Heat confirms that we will someday soon have that good ole basketball back with all due respect to the Lakers-Celtics 7 game series. This move reminds me of the days when it was Johnson, Worthy, and Jabbar vs. Bird, Parrish, and McHale, or Thomas, Dumars, and Lambeer. Well now we have Bryant, Gasol, Bynum, and Pierce, Allen, Garnett, and ultimately, Wade, bosh, and James! Do expect this to become “protocol” to win an NBA title. As for many more teams have and will be stacking their rosters with stars.

Click more to read the rest of Wayne’s post from his blog.

I believe that this Miami team will be explosive as intended. Anything less than an NBA championship title will be uncivilized. 72-10 anybody?. Well with Wade at the 1 and Lebron at the 2 or vice versa even, or Mario Chalmers at the 1, Wade at the 2, and Bron at the 3… Wow! Not to mention that I didn’t mention Bosh, who can live at the 4 or 5. Zone defense will be a must against this team. That’s 3 players on the court that commands a double team. Just imagine those guys on a fast break, the defender back peadaling… Wade can take it to the hole or throw it up and you know Bron. Bron is going to get it… or dish it back to a trailing Chris Bosh who will definitely finish at the rim… again, wow! Or how about Wade at the 3-point line, Bosh setting the pick, and Lebron in the passing lane. And if you collapse on them, don’t forget that Chalmers can knock down the shot. I bet that they lead the league in alley-oops. And they’re all young! Scary! Hey, what if Pat Riley returns to the sidelines and it ends up being the Lakers vs. Heat in the finals? Riley vs. Jackson! Epic! Gasol on Bosh, Ron-Ron on Bron-Bron, and Kobe on Wade… wow!

Also, beware of the Bulls. Boozer will fit in well because they’re similar to Utah in many ways. A nice guard surrounded by the shooters. With the addiction of Korrer and Rose should be able to shine brighter. The Bulls led the league in the rebounds last season and I’m sure they will again with Boozer and Noah.

Boston is the team of bad knees! With J. O’neal joining the squad, it adds another big man but his knees are always questionable. So is Garnett’s and now Perkins. But still expect them to do well in the east.

The Knicks are injury prone as well. Not only are their spirits injured from not getting The King, but Amare’s an injury threat as well as Turiaf and Randolph. If they can stay healthy, then expect Amare and Randolph to be beasts in the paint. Raymond Felton is no Steve Nash but he’s a solid point guard. He should do well with Stoudemire. I’m not sure about Orlando in the east this upcoming season. I mean Duhon isn’t exactly a good move but it has potential.

As for the West, Minnesota is stacked now with Beasley, Jefferson, Love, and Milicic. Golden State looks good with Curry and Lee. Though I’m not sure if we can expect Lee to brab all these boards in the west. Too many big men. As for the east is full of guards.
I can’t wait to see how teams stack up next season when those other big name players hit the market. Maybe Melo and Tony Parker to the Knicks? Or Chris Paul and Derrin Williams to the Lakers? They’re gonna have to do something! Good ole basketball.

  • Update: Ice-T Responds To Arrest

We previously reported that rapper Ice-T was arrested earlier this morning .  He has now responded to the arrest, claiming that media outlets made the incident national news, while he felt it was a petty incident.

He also took to his Twitter to express his feelings (and badge number) for the officer that arrested him, and explained the altercation that took place:

“Some punk b***h rookie cop named Fisher #10026 made the arrest of his bulls**t career today, arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt.”

The exchange took place before the cop arrested him, and Ice-T claims that the officer immediately recognized him.

“I know who you are and I don’t give a f**k,” Ice-T tweeted. “That was right after I called him a punk b***h”

Ice-T also denies reports that his license is suspended.

  • HERE COME THE EXCUSES Mayweather’s Camp Denies There Were Negotiations For A Fight

Flyod Mayweather’s camp has denied that negotiations for a Manny Pacquiao fight have ever taken place.

According to Leonard Ellerbe, one of Floyd Mayweather Jr.’sclosest advisers, negotiations for a super fight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao had never existed.

However, this is contrary to what Manny Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum said for the past three weeks, and it seems that he is not changing his story as well.

Arum said he had engaged in conversation on June 30th about the fight, and was waiting for a decision from the Mayweather camp. Then, Arum gave Mayweather until 3 a.m. ET Saturday to accept all of the terms and agreements of the fight.  However Ellerbe says different.

“Al Haymon, Richard Schaefer, and myself speak to each other on a regular basis, and the truth is no negotiations have ever taken place, nor was there ever a deal agreed upon by Team Mayweather or Floyd Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao on Nov. 13. Either Ross Greenburg or Bob Arum is not telling the truth, but history tells us who is lying.”

ALL I KNOW IS THAT MAYWEATHER AND HIS CAMP HAD A DEADLINE TO ANSWER AND THEY NEVER DID SO TO ME IT SEEMS THAT SOMEONE IS SCARED NOT SAYING NAMES MAYWEATHER LMAO OH WAIT I JUST REMEMBERED THAT MAYWEATHERS CAMP IS ON MINORITY TIME SO THEY DID ANSWER IN TIME AND TOP RANK IS ON CORPORATE TIME  LMAO
